Black Yak
IN HARMONY WITH THE MOUNTAINS Nature is our home; the summit is our destination. On our mountaineering tours and expeditions, we, mountaineers also have the mission to carry out all our activities in harmony with the mountains. Respect, humility, tolerance and appreciation are values that are our benchmark - towards nature as well as towards the people who live in and with it. These values are also the basis of our daily life and the foundation of our business activities. BLACKYAK - Made for Missions. HIGHEST QUALITY We develop innovative and technical products that must meet the high standards of our athletes and the missions of our customers. Whether on an 8000 meter peak, climbing a rock or hiking around a mountain lake, our products reliably protect against wind, rain, cold or heat. To ensure this, we work together with the best product developers, designers and manufacturers. Through the careful selection of our partners, we ensure that they also impose the strictest ecological and social criteria, commit themselves to international standards and undergo regular checks by independent institutions. |
Haddock
Woolen hats worn by skiers and climbers have always been tricky; in the eighties you didn’t wear them at all, in the nineties you never took them off. Then should they be worn back-to-front, with a peak or without and with or without a pompom? Then just when you thought you was cool, it should have both a pompom and peak, but worn a little too the left or to the right. Homemade, or was it factory made – in acryl
Haddock hats have been warming heads all the way to the top of Everest. They have been Arctic husky dog racing, up on Cho Oyo, Jiekkivarre and Chambre Neuf - many times.
And they look good, next year also.
